Berkeley has submitted an outline planning application to Guildford Borough Council for up to 600 new homes and a new children’s nursery in Effingham.
The proposal, which includes 50% affordable housing, will also deliver new publicly accessible open spaces for the community, including play spaces and communal orchards. In addition, new cycling and walking routes will be delivered, providing safe and accessible connections through the site and beyond.
The design has been directly influenced by the local character of Effingham and will contribute towards much needed new homes across the borough.
